Hammond, Indiana — Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the Hammond Parks & Recreation Department are proud to announce the 22nd Annual Festival of the Lakes: “Rod, Custom & Bike Show”, taking place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wolf Lake Aquatic Play Center at 2100 Calumet Ave in Hammond.

This popular annual event welcomes hot rods, classic cars, and custom motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region to showcase their vehicles and connect with fellow collectors and fans. As part of the long-running Festival of the Lakes, the show continues to be a highlight of the city’s summer programming.

Vehicle registration is open to the public. Pre-registration is $15 per vehicle and can be completed in advance at the Hammond Civic Center. Day-of registration is $20 (cash only) and will be available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the day of the event.

Attendees can enjoy a full afternoon of entertainment and activities, including a live DJ, dash plaques for participants, door prizes, awards, and food and concessions.

The Rod, Custom & Bike Show reflects the City of Hammond’s continued commitment to community engagement, family-friendly programming, and celebrating automotive culture.
